Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against Goonscam/Goonwaffle "practices", for any number of reasons. Call it a version of Darwinism; "A fool and his money..."; Buyer (or depositor) beware; or whatever. I just thought this stuff was pretty common knowledge. I was only in-game a few days before learning this stuff from posts on the forums (or other places on the intrawebz), as well as people in-game.
I guess not everyone actually seeks information before making in-game decisions as important as what corp you attempt to join. |

It really is quite snug. I like to call it "If a Goon says it is - it probably isn't" It's lovely warm and soft, I'd share it , but there's just not enough to go around. Seriously though, this is a game. People play it to have fun (or at least I hope they do). Goonswarm members do what they find fun. I do what I consider fun. The two aren't the same, therefore I won't try to join Goonswarm, and they wouldn't have me if I applied. No hard feelings either way. And if I do get scammed out of some ISK someday, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. While I wouldn't find it as fun as losing in PVP, I'd probably find it almost as funny. |
